The DowntownDC Foundation is pleased to welcome Amir Setayesh as the newest member of its board of directors.
As Managing Director of Quadrum Global, Setayesh oversees development projects in sectors such as hospitality, residential and senior living. He is responsible for the management of Quadrum’s U.S. personnel and offices and also provides senior leadership oversight for Quadrum’s Arlo Hotel portfolio, which is expanding to include a new hotel in downtown DC.
“I’m extremely excited and proud to be part of the DowntownDC Foundation, which supports our community in many meaningful ways,” said Setayesh. “There are great opportunities ahead for downtown, and I look forward to directly exploring them with this great team and leadership circle.”
Setayesh and his team have already put into action their desire to support the Foundation’s work. Through Setayesh and his team, Quadrum Global designed, fabricated and installed an upgraded welcome desk sign for the Downtown Day Services Center (DDSC).
“The DowntownDC Foundation is thrilled to welcome Amir to our board of directors. His business focus, global experience and compassionate community drive together make him a fantastic asset to our organization,” said Foundation board Chair Gigi Murphy. “We are excited for Arlo Hotels to join the DowntownDC community and so pleased with their strong and early involvement in our work.”
Setayesh joins a dedicated group of board members for the DowntownDC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that was launched by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) in 2019. The DowntownDC Foundation serves and celebrates our vibrant and diverse DowntownDC community by providing homeless services, revitalizing parks, and enhancing public spaces and experiences.
