The DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) recognizes and respects your need for privacy and security as you visit our site. When you visit our site to view any pages you do so without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information. Although we do not collect identifying information about visitors to our site, we do use standard software to collect information for the strict purpose of tracking activity. This allows us to understand better how many people use our site and which pages and features are most popular. The only information that we collect and store is:

The exception might be information that you forward about our Safety/Hospitality and Maintenance employees (SAMs). We periodically publish comments from the public about their performance and include your name, location an, sometimes when provided, your place of employment.
From time to time , the Downtown BID may send you newsletters or other timely information. You may opt to discontinue the delivery of such items by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of all official BID electronic communications.
