DowntownDC Foundation Executive Director Rachel Rose Hartman recently spoke to FOX 5 DC’s Maureen Umeh about our Hope for the Holidays campaign and showcased our Welcome Home Kit program.
“Our facility, the Downtown Day Services Center, serves 225 individuals a day at 13th and York Avenue. Once folks there are placed into housing, they are eligible immediately for a Welcome Home Kit. So even though our organization has this facility in Downtown, our support stretches throughout the whole DC region.”
