The DowntownDC Foundation is pleased to welcome Kelley Shannon, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Customer Experience for The Bozzuto Group, to its board of directors.
“I am excited to join the DowntownDC Foundation board and contribute to the remarkable work being done to enhance our downtown community,” said Shannon. “I look forward to leveraging my local and global experience to support the Foundation’s mission and initiatives at a crucial time for our city.”
Shannon oversees marketing and customer experience for more than 350 apartment communities nationwide and has been instrumental in driving innovation through technology and process enhancements, crafting a winning reputation management strategy that secured Bozzuto the #1 property management company position for eight consecutive years. In addition to her professional experience, Shannon was the Treasurer for the Friends of the 16th Street Heights Parks (501c3) and recently completed the inaugural year for the Federal City Council’s Emerging Leaders Program.

Shannon joins a dedicated board of directors who lead the DowntownDC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit launched by the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) in 2019. The DowntownDC Foundation serves and celebrates our vibrant and diverse DowntownDC community by providing homeless services, revitalizing parks, and enhancing public spaces and experiences.
