From concerts to children’s classes, markets and fairs, DIY workshops and more, the DowntownDC Foundation supports diverse, free events and programming for all. Events are managed by the team at the DowntownDC BID as well as a host of local curators and organizations to bring you an interesting and varied lineup of activities in DowntownDC public spaces.
The Foundation provides funding, in-kind donations, and philanthropic partnerships for events in DowntownDC. This has included: the DowntownDC Holiday Market; Jazz & Blossoms, a premier National Cherry Blossom Festival© event; Summer on the Square: Past, Present and Future, funded by Humanities DC; the annual Kids World extravaganza and more!
